Plant-for-the-Planet
The hardest Academy so far was the one in the YMCA in Soweto. The children were just as interested as they had been in the other places we had visited, however we had only planned for a maximum of 100-150 children. When 500 children turned up for the Academy we unfortunately had to disappoint many of them. Many students were unable to give their presentations following the workshop and there weren’t enough books and t-shirts for everyone. It was really a shame but we have learnt a lot.
