Felix receives Climate Week Award 2013

On Monday, 4th March 2013, the winners of the Climate Week Awards were presented at a ceremony in Central London at the official launch of Climate Week. The Climate Week Awards recognise the most inspirational and impressive actions taking place in every sector of society. They showcase projects and initiatives all across Britain – from government departments to community allotments, from large businesses to local faith groups, and are judged by an eminent panel.

Felix Finkbeiner was nominated in the category “Most Inspirational Young Person”, recognising the next generation of leaders taking action on climate change. As he could not particpate personally at the ceremony, Finn, a 13-year-old Climate Justice Ambassador from St. Christopher Junior School in Letchworth, received the award in his place. Out of all the 14 nominated categories that were presented, Finn received the loudest applause.
