Plant-for-the-Planet
Lena R. and Lena Sch. from Germany are thinking about organizing a Chocomob in Bonn together. Furthermore, they are working on improving the connection between the Climate Justice Ambassadors in the Cologne/Bonn area.
Shanisse from Singapore, president of the Global Board, wants to organize academies in Singapore and also in Malaysia, Thailand and Laos in cooperation with one of our planting partners. Moreover, she wants to start a million tree campaign in Singapore. Here you can see Shanisse’s speech at the opening ceremony of the European University in Munich, Germany :
Evelyn from Singapore wants to contact the Singaporean Government to encourage them to support Plant-for-the-Planet planting actions. Moreover, planting actions are already being planned involving several schools. She is thinking about organizing a charity gala. Her aim is to plant at least 5.000 trees in Singapore by the end of her term.
Abishek und Sagar from Nepal will organize planting actions in Dhulikhel and Kathmandu. The first Plant-for-the-Planet academies in Nepal are already being planned. With their help we are trying to establish an official organization in Nepal at the moment.
Cameron from South Africa would like to improve the communication between the Climate Justice Ambassadors in his country, so that he can stay in touch with everyone.
Carolin from Germany plans to strengthen her contact with the politicians in her area and to encourage them to cooperate with Plant-for-the-Planet.
Fernanda from Brazil wants to contact the main companies in her area to encourage them to supporting Plant-for-the-Planet during planting actions and academies. Moreover, she is planning to bring our cause to the attention of more students, by holding speeches and debates online and at schools.
Yun Qi Vicki from Singapore is planning on giving a speech in the Singapore General Hospital in front of an audience of young adults and children.
Ariane from Italy plans to organize a series of bilingual lectures in Italian and English in several elementary and middle schools. Furthermore, she is planning on holding a media attended meeting with the local politicians to discuss the demands of the three-point-plan.
We are looking forward to an exciting and eventful year with the Global Board of 2012/2013.
