Plant-for-the-Planet Academy Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), 26 March 2012

The first Academy in Brasil 2012 was taking place at the private school Instituto Marcos Freitag in Rio de Janeiro, just a few kilometres away from de place Rio +20. The speech was given by the siblings Pietro and Giuliana, and João Gabriel, who is sitting in a wheel chair. The three are part of the very first generation of Plant-for-the-Planet in Brazil in October 2011 – and the most active ones! In the Second Plant-for-the-Planet Academy in Rio, they empowered their class and school mates to join them as Climate Justice Ambassadors. Although the speaking training wasn’t planed at this Academy, some participants practiced the Plant-for-the-Planet speech at lunch break.
