Planting trees in Australia and the UK

The students' initiative Plant-for-the-Plant is attracting supporters from as far as Australia and the UK.

The Australian Peninsula School planted over 600 trees on the school grounds with the aim of offsetting their emissions. They call their movement PEACE: Peninsula Environmental Action Creating Ecosystems.

The second partner which planted 700 trees is the World Clean Air Forest Initiativea United Kingdom based NGO which was created to establish a seamless world forest network by funding tree planting and purchasing existing established forests internationally. Its mission is to Grow Clean Air for everyone everywhere by planting 9.1 Billion Trees. One Clean Air Tree for every person by the year 2050.
