On November 15th, 2013 an Academywas held at the German School of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with the participation of 60 new Ambassadors.They planted 200 trees and some other smaller species of the Canary Islands‘ flora. Ms. Maria del Mar Arévalo Araya, Minister for Environment and Emergencies of Gran Canaria’s town council, also attended the event. She planted a young native tree called Dracaena Tamaranae, which only 69 adult specimens available in the nature live precisely on this island. All Climate Justice Ambassadors wanted to say Stop Talking, Start Planting to the Minister and take a photograph with her.
