New Academy in Queretaro, Mexico

On Saturday September 22nd, 2012 a new Plant-for-the-Planet Academy took place in Queretaro, Mexico. More than 20 participants registered and engaged in intense discussions about the climate crisis, global citizenship and distributive justice. Furthermore, the participants took the opportunity to play games for developing their leadership and team work skills.

At the end of the Academy, many bean seeds were planted in cotton with water, and recyclable pots and containers were also decorated by the children. The newly appointed Ambassadors for Climate Change decided to form a new club “Heroes of the Planet” immediately setting the date for their next planting party.
