Plant-for-the-Planet
On Saturday September 28th, 2013 our second Barcelona-Academy was held at the premises of the city’s Botanical Garden. This was an ideal place as the 42 empowered Climate Justice Ambassadors we able to plant 65 new trees -donated by the Forestry Department of Catalonia-, as well as taking a guided tour around the Garden, receiving an explanation on how to cultivate plants in a tree nursery and the special techniques for planting bonsais (miniature trees). The organization of this Academy was possible thanks to the support of the company FedEx Express EMEA.
