10 program coordinators from 8 countries were trained

After taking part in the Plant-for-the-Planet Youth Summit and in the subsequent project management training in Leitershofen near Augsburg, new youths and young adults continued to form the program coordinator at the Youth Hostel Possenhofen. As program coordinators, they plan and lead academies, supervise ambassadors for climate justice and take care of the financing of the activities in the country.

Employees from the Plant-for-the-Planet Secretariat conveyed the necessary tools to do so. They presented their fields of work to the participants from Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania and discussed work steps and tasks which the program coordinators can implement to establish Plant-for-the-Planet in their countries .

Unexpected climax was the winter break on the first day of the training. Most of the participants have seen snow for the first time in their lives on this day.
