Plant-for-the-Planet Academy Vila de Abrantes (Brazil), 09 April 2012

The second Academy in Bahia was taking place in a suburb of the capital Salvador. At the public school of Vila de Abrantes there is already an active environment club, whose members have participated alongside representatives of different classes at the Academy. Behind the school different forest species were planted amongst others: mango and avocado. For Fernando, who grew up in a slum, it was the first time he saw the federal capital Salvador and the ocean!
