You’ve been discussing even longer than we’ve been alive, don’t tell us you need more time!
For years the world’s leaders postponed the plan to reduce the CO2 emission of the world.
The new date for the summit is supposed to be on 01.01.2020. Therefore next year a new worldwide climate contract has to be set in Paris. That’s why we want to demonstrate during this year’s climate conference in Lima. Our future is at risk. We can’t wait any longer. We have to make this clear forthe world’s politician!
From 1st to 12th of December 2014, the 20th climate conference (COP 20) in Lima, Peru, is taking place. This is our opportunity to organize on 6th December a worldwide demonstration to show, that we need a decision.
No matter where you live or how many you are – go to your townhall on 6th December and show the politicians, that your future is important. Also inform the media in your area.
To gain more attention you can get from the Plant-for-the-Planet office:
– Material: big cardboard trees (1,50m x 1,00m), flyer and stickers, they will try to give to you for free.
– Instructions “How do I organize a demonstration” – from the application for town to the end of the event.
– Help creating a message to the local press.
The paying for fossil energy, and the unending discussions have to end!

The aim is a worldwide energy transition. The first success is that today renewable energies cover about 6% of the worldwide energy requirements.
STILL fossil energy is kept promoting:
Dirty brown coal extraction – woods, meadows and houses are smashed and the groundwater is polluted.
Bloody black coal – therefore people in mining areas have to die.
Deadly atomic energy – brings us catastrophes like Fukushima.
Undemocratic gas production – makes us dependent on other states.
Renewable energies don’t cause maintance fees. For all fossil energy sources the costs for the CO2 – retention has to be added, which is only done by trees. Astronomical expensive and unsolved are for example the maintance fees for the storage, rearrangement, and guarding of the atomic waste over the next 10.000 years, which was calculated by the ambassadors for climate justice.
