The Ambassador Awards Project 

We are excited to announce the launch of the first ever Plant-for-the-Planet Ambassador Awards, a new initiative by our Global Board celebrating the exceptional efforts of Climate Justice Ambassadors worldwide.

The Ambassador Awards recognize remarkable Climate Justice Ambassadors who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and impact in their communities and inspire others to follow in their footsteps and join the global movement for climate justice.

Do you have a project that made a difference in the fight against the climate crisis? Did your idea inspire change in your community? It’s time to let your Plant-for-the-Planet initiative shine and inspire others across the globe. The Plant-for-the-Planet Ambassador Awards are open to all our young ambassadors aged 8-25 who’ve attended our academies or have been long-time supporters of our cause.

Prizes and Recognition

For 9 to 15 Year Olds – 1 Winner per Region
Regions: China, Europe, India, Sub Saharan Africa, Middle East, North Africa and Greater Arabia, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America and Oceania, Central and East Asia.

• Certificate for winning the Ambassador Awards of 2024
• Goody bag with items from “The Good Store”:  Change Chocolate, Plant-for-the-Planet book, Plant-for-the-Planet t-shirt, tote bag
• Blog article about winners projects on the Plant-for-the-Planet website
• A 30-minute call with Felix, the founder of Plant-for-the-Planet

For 16 to 25 Year Olds – 1 Winner Worldwide

• Recognition at the annual Youth Summit 2024
• Certificate for winning the Ambassador Award
• An opportunity to be interviewed by the Global Board and be published on the Plant-for-the-Planet website
• A goody bag with items from “The Good Store”:  Change Chocolate, Plant-for-the-Planet book, Plant-for-the-Planet t-shirt, tote bag
• A travel grant of up to €1,500 to attend the Youth Summit

How to Apply

Eligible Climate Justice Ambassadors trained at our Academies or known youth supporters of Plant-for-the-Planet can apply. Submit your application or nominate an Ambassador or a group with an impactful project or trajectory. 

You can apply or nominate candidates with a diverse array of initiatives, including organizing events such as tree-planting activities, academies, or speaker series’. Projects involving fundraising campaigns, engaging with local policymakers, organizing non-violent protests or demonstrations, and even hosting environmentally-themed music festivals fall under our purview. Furthermore, projects involving creative communication, like crafting short stories, poems, or other forms of art are also eligible. We welcome your submission of any kind of project or initiative that contributed to our cause and is connected to Plant-for-the-Planet.
